What's new at The Dark Woods Haunted Trail for 2019? Do you have any new rides, attractions, or special features that Haunt Seekers should know about?

This is our 3rd year and it just keeps getting better! We have added some really cool new walk through areas and have added to the existing attractions. This is not your everyday cheesy Haunted House.

What are you most excited about for the 2019 Halloween Season?

We have had fantastic feedback from our guests. 2019 is going to be the scariest yet!

What differentiates The Dark Woods Haunted Trail from other local haunts in Virginia?

We are not about blood and guts. That is just not scary to us. We focus on the fears that are in all of us and also bring to mind the death that awaits us all. It is also a lot of fun!

How long has The Dark Woods Haunted Trail been in business? Can you tell us a bit more about The Dark Woods Haunted Trail's history?

Our history is complicated. This will be our 3rd year.

What's your favorite experience since opening The Dark Woods Haunted Trail?

I cannot think of a specific experience, but it is so great to see folks having such a good time being scared.

How long is a typical haunt experience at The Dark Woods Haunted Trail from start to finish?

it takes 30-45 minutes to go through the entire trail.

On a scale from 1 to 10, how scary would you say The Dark Woods Haunted Trail is? Why?

I think we are an 8. We stay away from the gore so that does make some things not as scary, but we do a fantastic job of creepy and bringing deep fears to the surface.

Does The Dark Woods Haunted Trail's property have any real haunted history? Do you have a spooky encounter you'd like to share?

The woods are so eerie even without all of the attractions. There is a old wagon trail that runs along the property from long ago.

Can The Dark Woods Haunted Trail accommodate large groups? How many people can experience The Dark Woods Haunted Trail together as a group?

We like our groups to be no larger than 6 people. If we have large groups we try to split them up into smaller groups. It makes the experience so much more fun that way.

Does The Dark Woods Haunted Trail offer any special deals, discounts, or coupons?

Since we are still new to the scene, our entrance fee is discounted to $10.00 per person for everyone.
