What's new at Haunted Hill Haunted Trail and Hayride for 2022? Do you have any new rides, attractions, or special features that Haunt Seekers should know about?

Continuing our tradition of providing screams with our Haunted Hayride and Trail. The trail continues to draw a crowd of thrill seekers and we look forward to another exciting year with our tight tunnels, mazes, hearse, houses, and various actors.

What are you most excited about for the 2022 Halloween Season?

The thrill of crisp, cool fall nights with the sound of screams coming from The Haunted Hill.

What differentiates Haunted Hill Haunted Trail and Hayride from other local haunts in Virginia?

Our live actors and staff are what make The Haunted Hill. They move about and you never know where one may pop out.

How long has Haunted Hill Haunted Trail and Hayride been in business? Can you tell us a bit more about Haunted Hill Haunted Trail and Hayride's history?

This is a family tradition going back three generations of children and grand children.

What's your favorite experience since opening Haunted Hill Haunted Trail and Hayride?

Interacting with our many FANs each haunt season and providing the best experience.

How long is a typical haunt experience at Haunted Hill Haunted Trail and Hayride from start to finish?

With approximately a mile of trail with scenes throughout. It really depends on how fast you run!

On a scale from 1 to 10, how scary would you say Haunted Hill Haunted Trail and Hayride is? Why?

Giving ourselves a solid '8' because of all the hard work and dedication of our family and staff. We literally pour their souls into The Haunted Trail and show up nightly for public entertainment.

Does Haunted Hill Haunted Trail and Hayride's property have any real haunted history? Do you have a spooky encounter you'd like to share?

The Haunted Trail property is rooted in rich documented plantation and antebellum history. Customers and actors have experienced a sense of presence not seen and have shared stories of ghostly encounters.

What inspired you to open up a haunted attraction? What's your favorite part of the business?

Family inspiration starting from parties and we grew from there. Our favorite part of the business is seeing our FANs, family, and friends having a great time.

How has new technology (i.e. animatronics, special props, etc) helped you to enhance Haunted Hill Haunted Trail and Hayride?

We are rooted in 'live' actors shifting about the woods. There's nothing scarier than the element of surprise; something an animatronic or prop can't predict or time perfectly.

Can Haunted Hill Haunted Trail and Hayride accommodate large groups? How many people can experience Haunted Hill Haunted Trail and Hayride together as a group?

While large groups greater than 6 aren't recommended for the full scare effect. We do accommodate larger groups with a clear explanation; the scares are harder for our actors to achieve, if bunched up or in a larger group.
